Sliced apples and peanut butter

Growing up I survived on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Our grandfather used to make us special breakfast by doing peanut butter jelly toast. He would always cut off the crust and cut it into small squares. It was such a treat and we had it often. Peanut butter is so versatile and can be used in so many different snacks and desserts. When I realized how much mold can be found in grocery store peanut butter along with unnecessary seed oils I was determined to make it myself. When I realized how easy it really was I was shocked. Just three simple ingredients and a few minutes and you have the most delicious homemade peanut butter to use all week!!

Tips and Tricks

– You can adjust the honey and salt to your preference. If you want it to taste like store bought than I would definitely do 2 tbsp of honey and 1/2 tsp salt. But you can always adjust it to your liking.

-If you plan to use it within a week than just leave it at room temperature. If you want it to keep longer than I suggest storing it in the fridge.
