Chocolate Chunk Cookies
These Chocolate chunk cookies are a chocolate lovers dream. They are soft and chewy with the perfect amount of texture from the chocolate chunks.

Growing up our favorite dessert in the house was chocolate chips cookies. We have made these no less than 100 times. But in my opinion the more chocolate the better. Chocolate chunk cookies are so decadent and give you that extra chocolatey goodness. It almost lends itself to be called a brownie chocolate chunk cookie. If you want them to taste more like a brownie then just underbake them a couple minutes and then let them cool fully on the baking tray.

Chocolate chunk cookies are so versatile in that they are a great base to so many other cookies. I love my chocolate peppermint cookies which is this cookie with peppermint frosting for a Holiday twist. These would also be great with a strawberry frosting for Valentine’s day or marshmallow frosting and some graham cracker crumbs for a smores version. No matter how you use this cookie recipe you will never be disappointed.
